Year 7 back in school

We have been delighted today to welcome our 215 new Year 7 students into school ... what a credit they have been to themselves!

Any initial nerves and worries soon disappeared.  Students have all had a socially distanced small group assembly from key staff, have spent time with their form tutors, sampled their social area for break and lunchtime, had a tour of the school and lots of other new experiences.  They will be excited, relieved and no doubt tired from all of the listening today.  We look forward to welcoming our Year 11 students back tomorrow, and both Year 7 and Year 11 will start their lessons tomorrow.  Everyone else  is back on Friday and into lessons.

A reminder please .... face masks can be disposable or reusable but please remember they must be a plain, single colour.

NEW DAILY ENTRANCES FOR YEAR GROUPS
- Year 7, the same entrance as used today
- Years 8 and 9, entrance near astro turf and move to Sports Hall
- Years 10 and 11, entrance at front of school next to new canopy area and move to school canteen.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
